Seven museums on the first floor correspond to one of the seven attributes designed into the monument.

1. THE HALL OF PEACE AND JUSTICE – Represented by the feather, honors women around the world whose works of loving-kindness have enriched the human experience.
1A. THE HALL OF PEACE AND JUSTICE -  Rotating Auxillary Exhibit, this one featuring Pulitzer Prize winner Wangari Maathai.
2. PLANET EARTH EXHIBIT – Represented by the bared right breast highlights geology and educates visitors about the limited resources on our fragile and precious planet.
3. AFRICA – BEYOND THE BORDERS EXHIBIT– Represented by the outline of Africa contained in the monument, this exhibit explores pre-colonial Africa as one geographical location.
4. THE HALL OF COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS– Represented by the pineal dot explores past and present spiritual technologies from around the world, and throughout the ages.
5. ONE FAMILY – ONE FUTURE EXHIBIT – Represented by the left hand, showcases physical anthropology, linguistics, and archaeology exhibits that prove our shared ancestry and connectedness as a single human family.
6. LEAD WITH LOVE EXHIBIT – Represented by the left foot, honors pioneers like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Thich Nhat Hanh who dared to step forward with heart, courage, and love to change the world.
7. The AAABCIS EXHIBIT– Representing the locations of Africa, America, Australia, Brazil, China, India and Spain, this exhibit is a launch pad for the MotherLand™ 360° degree Panoramic Museum of the African Diaspora and a window into the healing potential of the Mother of Humanity® monument that can be shared around the world.

EXTERIOR FOUNDATION

The monument’s foundation, known as The Great Ark, rises 16 feet above the ground.The Great Ark is a sculpted tribute to all creatures of Earth—great and small, of land, sea, and sky. Carved in stone, this living mural honors the sacred bond between all life, reminding us that we journey together, not as strangers, but as kin. From the first breath to the endless horizon, we are passengers on one ark, held in the embrace of a shared Earth—and a shared mother.
